Ordered my Karoq on 13th March and picked it up yesterday.

Very pleased with it and the exemplary service I recieved from Mitchell Skoda Cheshire Oaks. Also recieved a £200 accessory voucher from Skoda Uk.

Early March this year

Blimey! Hope they get yours sorted out soon.

That's a long time to be stuck in Grimsby, Dunks - I'm hoping there might be a few more ordered from the North West to justify filling a transporter with the required number (12 ?) to facilitate a trip across the Pennines ! Good luck with getting yours, despite our "waits", I'm certain it'll be worth it.

Delivered to dealers today! Negotiating collection date currently telling me they do Saturday collections!

It's on the boat !! My dealership phoned early doors this morning to inform me my Karoq Edition is "on the boat" ! Ordered 17th April, just two options (spare wheel & auto lights assist), and 14 weeks later it has set sail. My target is 30/31st July, so reckon two weeks time (31st) is well within the time frame for transporter trip  to Mitchell's and their PDI to have all been completed. I've arranged "Preferential Termination" for my current car , an Octy3 SEL 1.6 Tdi, which no doubt Mitchell's will put up for sale - you'll be getting a good 'un if you buy it !

Email today from my dealership saying my Karoq has landed, in the compound and delivery expected within 5 working days. A phonecall this afternoon asking me to choose my registration from a list of about 20, AND saying my car is being delivered to them tomorrow ! All being well, with PDI completed I will collect on Monday 30th, just as current insurance expires - just luv it when a plan comes together !!

Fingers crossed it all goes to plan for you!

Update:

It's in the Uk!

Set sail yesterday on the City Of Sunderland vessel and arrived at Newcastle today, confirmed by live chat and shortly after a call from my dealer - can't fault their communication so far.

It's getting closer

Thanks, will do.

I think it will be mid August all being well.

Went to my dealers today to sign the paperwork, to be informed my car had been unloaded & was in their compound awaiting PDI ! I cannot believe how lucky I've been, to order the Edition & despite all the troubles guys on here have experienced, have it delivered exactly as I'd hoped, so, so fortunate I know. Was taken to it, sat in "my" drivers seat & even given the manual to take home & read before I collect a week Monday ! I cannot fault either the dealership (Mitchell's, Cheshire Oaks), who have been superb in keeping me updated, or Skoda "Live Chat" who have been as equally helpful. Incidentally, I travel 65 miles each way to Mitchell's, when my local Skoda dealers is about 10 miles away - the difference in service is like chalk n cheese, & well worth the extra distance involved to obtain REAL customer service - now, where's that manual, only got a week to read it !?!

Due to collect my car tomorrow afternoon after, despite originally being told they don't do Saturday collections.

In total it will be 18 weeks from order mid March.

Built 4th June

Emden 8th June

Grimsby 4th July

Dealer 19th July

to be fair they turned it around within the dealers in 2 days.

photo to follow.

Enjoy your day Dunks, I'm sure you will ! I was shown a list today of at least 70 Skoda's my dealership had ordered, mostly for stock I think. Only eight (8) had been built, the rest all delayed for one reason or other, but WLTP issues the main problem it seems. As I said earlier, have been so lucky in getting ours, so "looking on the bright side" has paid off !

My concern is that my current lease ends in October so waiting until wltp fugues released early August then trying to place order at the same time as every man and his dog with a 40 to 50 week waiting list....I don't think my lease company would be happy for me to keep the current one for the best part of a year. So I'm thinking I'll have to go another manufacturer

Sorry Timmh, you'll just have to see what stock supply your dealers already have at the showroom or already en route. Or try CarWow - they did us a cracking deal on a Superb a few years back. Good luck.

Buy from stock. Hardly any discounts are offered but you get a car.

It doesn't matter if you go to Nissan for a factory ordered petrol Qashqai or BMW for a petrol X3. All of them have at least 4 month lead time.

In April/May I'll terminate my current finance agreement but am already going to test a Karoq next week so that by the time it's November/December I'm ready to pull the trigger and have the car delivered on time.

At long last, and now to enjoy!

:happy::thumbup:

Is the trim around the wheel arches an optional extra?

No it’s standard on edition 2 wheel drive and standard on lower models if you opt for the 19” wheels
