Help! Bonnet stuck after fender bender.

So my bonnet is stuck shut after a minor impact(10-20 km/h) on the left hand side of the car. The bonnet is sligthy bent sitting offset on it's bumper stops(hoovering over actually), i mananged to remove to bonnet grille to get a look at the lock and thougth that was the problem, it's sligthy bent and very very stuck almost at the fully locked position. After unsucseccfully trying to remove the lock i decided to saw through the metal pin connected to the bonnet that sits inside the bonnet lock when the bonnet is down, but still the bonnet is stuck shut. My conclusion is that one or both of the bonnet hinges are bent in a way that makes it impossible to raise the hood, and after looking over it i can't see any way to fit anything under the bonnet to unscrew the hinges, I tried removing the windshield wiper for better access but there's not enough clearance to get to that bolt either. So the only option i see now is to cut the bonnet by drilling into the bonnet around the hinges and using a metal file to complete the cut. That would obviusly require me to get a new bonnet, so before i do, does anyone know any other possible reasons for my stuck bonnet? Is there more to the hood lock than meets the eye, and is it reasonable that bent hinges could make it impossible to open the hood?
