The big question is when are Skoda UK going to pull their fingers out and update the car configurator to reflect the new and improved specification cars?

On the Skoda UK manual download page the pricing and specs document is now dated 3rd July 2018... but don't get too excited as it still seems to refer to MY18 cars.
I'm not expert enough to know what they have changed in this version.

Looks like it's still MY18 as you say, the VRS is listed as the 230

The to be discontinued 1.4 tsi engine is still listed as well

Finnish 2019 specs are out. 1.4 is gone, 2.0TSI in 140 and 180kW flavours (I think that translates back to 190 and 245PS) Only 4x4 with a manual box is the 1.6TDI.

Other changes - digital meters for €400 and the challenge plus pack includes (here) half-leather, electric seats and lane assist, black RS logos, black tips and a lap timer.

That's about all I can spot...  oh, and all the CO2 numbers are still NEDC.

EDIT says we also have the option to order a 135kW 2.0TDI as 4x4 without it being an RS. And a 4x4 2.0TSI is possible, but both are DSG.

The lights aren’t changing. It’s not a new model. And as said. LEDs are already standard equipment on some models.

My 245 has split lights which have grown on me and they are full led in fact all the lights on the car are.

I'm looking here http://cc-cloud.skoda-auto.com/fin/fin/fi-fi/  and can't see the Digital Dash in the configuration for the RS Combi options? At least by the pictures.

correct. It's not in the configurator but is listed in the pricelist....

  • 2 weeks later...

Has anyone with a MY19 car on order recieved any new emission and mpg data yet?

It seems my FireFox doesn't like the link so I went directly to Autocar and found that the adrress IS correctly shown ?

But when I paste it it doesn't work ?

Try the short version instead, but COPY and PASTE the address into the browser instead of clicking on the link

correction

All the links work fine for me. The new emissions tests will need cars to be re- designed to pass those tests. Or is that cheating?

... and the brochure is now dated August, and the pricing and specs document is dated September.

But the spec document still refers to MY18 only, and seems limited to a subset of models. S/SE/SE L specs, with no 2.0 diesel, and I imagine other engines missing too.

So what happened to the 245 vrs?

245 VRS is now standard

Cheers - but not in brochure or configurator...

Is that it? It doesnt seem anything special - I was expecting a bit more --- different wheels, maybe different bumpers etc.

A New brochure for pricing and specifications is now on Skoda UK website

http://www.skoda.co.uk/SiteCollectionDocuments/downloads/brochures/octavia_pricing_specs.pdf

Appears range is currently rationalised to 3 engines, 1.0tsi 115, 1.5tsi 150 and a 1.6 diesel 115

Now just 3 spec levels S SE SEL

As posted by SurreyJohn elsewhere. No 2l diesel or petrol and no VRS pro tem. Eeek.
