Colunbus 9.2 - Fingerprints

Featured Replies

Here's one I'm sure others have come across, and wondered what your solution(s) was.

I have over the weekend taken delivery of my Superb with the 9.2 Columbus full touch screen, but after just a few days the screen is now covered in smudges and fingerprints.

My OCD it taking a bashing :D

Microfibre cloth works just fine, clear down the smudges every couple of days and your OCD should cope :D

Yep, I'll have to keep one in the arm rest.

Now, which colour cloth? :D

That's easy! Mine is blue to match the interior ambient lighting. ;)

My interior lighting is set to orange currently, and I still haven't made up my mind what colour to go with.

First world problems  :)

Škoda green for the interior B)

I have mind set at blue

Red here but I also blue. SWMBO insists on pink, noooo

Mine is blue, the missus has purple on her setting.

For the screen I use a glasses cleaning cloth, seems to work well on the screen and also the gloss black bits of the interior.

After I've buffed up the Meguiar's Ultimate Kwik Detailer on the outside of the car, I use that cloth to wipe down the shiny bits on the inside. Works well.
