So I went and bought a Jaaaag

Obviously I agree with Mr Harris and his views on the current M3/4 :) Although He would have preferred the manual gearbox it seems. I'm not a fan of BMW manuals over the last few years, there's nothing really wrong with them, but they don't have that special feeling, they're just a bit numb. It was also nice to see he realised it wasn't just men who had M3/4s :)

I am embarrassed to say I am a convert. I like the big grills, but only on the M cars, as the bonnet scoops balance the whole thing for me. Standard cars still look weird imho

Not be that long before the new front becomes the Norm and no one even thinks twice about them.

its true. if you take the number plate off a newish A4 or A5, the grill is probably as big the m4, its the way its split vertically makes it look strange.

There were M4 deals not that far away from that as they ran the model out.

There were some epic deals on an M4.

Damn my fertile loins :wall:

It's really not a bonny car.

Grill too big, wheels too small.

Might be a bad angle I suppose. It's probably lovely if you look at it from behind a brick wall.

Funny how all the journalists end up saying the same thing.........the grill is growing on me but then beards appear and are mostly not what I want but they still grow on me but it doesn't mean I want or like beards.

I've looked at the photoshop modified front ends and I can honestly say if I had the new model I would not change that front now. I genuinely like it. From some angles it appears to be almost raked back like the sharknose fronts of yore. I would change the weight and size if I could though. It's a bit of a lump and I expect it will handle more like the Audi RS4 than the C63 :(  Fingers crossed they don't turn the next M2 into a supertanker too

Agreed.... I think the vertical split, I will say makes it look worse, as I am not really a fan of it's looks anyway.....

The Audi's have had the so called 'beard' look for years. Personally I think the A5 looks a hell of a lot nicer.
