Constant Battery Drain

Featured Replies

I have a 2008 mk1 superb 2.0 TDi Elegance that discharges its battery overnight. I have tried checking all the fuses one by one but none of them seem to be the problem.

Has anyone experienced the same problem and found the solution?

The flashing glow plug light also comes on after about 10 minutes so I'm not sure if the problems are related.

How old is the battery? If original - then it's just old and needs replacing.

Battery is new

No matter what's wrong with the battery you need to have the engine malfunction seen to. The issues might be related or they might not.

You'll need to give some more info on the engine issue before we can comment with any certainty.

There is a separate section for superb mk1, this is the mk2 section.
