Window regulator not working

Featured Replies

Hello guys,

Quick question, or rather not that quick...I have a 2004 Skoda Fabia, with electrical window regulators in front. I have had some troubles with them over the period. First, they were stopping working and they will start working again after I would pull and put back the fuse. Fixed that by changing the battery (after it died in one cold winter, it was old tho). Next, of course, at some point, the regulators themselves broke, had to change the plastic parts. Now, it started acting up again, just stopped working, tried the trick with fuse, did not work, went on the internet found that disconnecting and connecting were the door connects to the body itself (4 sets of cables on the driver side), worked, for about a month. Stopped again, tried on the driver side, nothing, tried on the passenger side worked for a while (like one hour or smth) only the passenger window. And now I am not sure what to check/do, any ideas. Tried disconnecting and connecting the switch itself nothing. I am out of options.

Cheers!
