Real-time digital speed display 2008 mk2

Featured Replies

I have a 2008 mk2 Skoda Fabia, I was wondering if anyone has or knows how to turn the digital display into a real-time speed display using a tool such as vagcom - or if it’s even possible?

If you have the MFD, then with vagcom you need to set the vehicle to "rest of world" setting and turn "off" alt speed display in the MFD, then you get the large speedo as an option in the MFD

It may be cheaper, but cheaper tools are always limited in functionality, he did not mention buying one, but in fairness I would not own any make of car now without diagnostics to go with it.

True.

You'd be  surprised with carista, for £15.99 it almost offers you a vast amount of options.....Both simple and complex. For a simple job like changing the MFD its ideal without spending a fortune and saves the need to learn to use Vagcom which agreeably is the dogs *******s but not so much user friendly.
