Replaced fresh air blower, no dashboard is indication airbag error

Featured Replies

I'm just taking a look at the wiring schematics here, the solar panel has its own control module J355 which connects to the blower control module J126 via pin 6 on its connector. I'm not sure of locations for these controllers but I'd guess they're near the aircon controller and sunroof controller.

I’d be very surprised if the panel fed directly to the blower motor.

Well I'm not getting any error codes on anything, all fuses are correct and working and I can't see what else would be in the circuit. It has to work when the ignition is off. I got one of these PDF manuals that I purchased on line and it just seems odd to me that there is not any mention of the solar panel or any reference to a wiring diagram for the entire car?

The official service manual is actually a large collection of PDFs covering different parts/systems. The pdf for the electrical schematics alone runs to nearly 5500 pages. Stuff is generally cross-referenced within and between the manuals but it takes a little time to figure out what's going on.

If you want the official Skoda manuals, subscribe at https://erwin.skoda-auto.cz/erwin/showHome.do and download them. A 24 hour subscription is more than enough to get a good look around and download everything you need. It's about €30 for the 24 h sub, less than a tenner for an hour.
