Yes I can send a link, from memory you can update to 8755 version.

Can anybody tell me if there is an update for this cheers

I am 99.99% sure that there's 0253 version, but you should press and hold Menu or Setup button for 10 seconds to find your Software Train information (this also has the firmware update button)

Hi guys, here is the little tease
I have now done the following, made the folder structure on a stick. And tried to push the update without success! Attached is a picture of the service information from the radio, maybe it's different?!

This should be the correct file for the software train.

SD Card in FAT32?

Are the files in the root of the drive, and not in a folder called "MEN2_EU_SKGPx_P0080L_MU8755"

Amazing, makes sense. Any chance that when you have time you could send it over again? The link has timed out.

Usually nothing is lost in the process, unless unit was "hacked" to enable something it never had.

Roughly 3 weeks later I can confirm all went well with the update. 

This certainly did fix the phantom touches the screen was experiencing too much during cold/damp weather and it's much more responsive too! 

Thanks @varooom for the software and help with this!! Without brilliant people like you around we would be at the mercy of the dealer (and that wouldn't be very nice).

Befinden sich die Dateien im Stammverzeichnis des Laufwerks und nicht in einem Ordner namens "MEN2_EU_SKGPx_P0080L_MU8755"

I was supposed to get back to you last week, but I had a lot on my plate.
The update has worked without problems, what it was now I can not tell you! I have taken another card in NFTS format, and there it went without problems. Either it was the actual card or the formatting. I do not know!

The update cannot fix Apple carplay, those features are turned on by release codes.

 

0138 is latest for your information.

Either dealer or possibly an independent workshop.  Might not be worth the trouble/cost.

What about change the entire system? If i change mib1 to mib2. Beacuse i have to plan drive this car for the next 6 years or more. Maybe is cheaper to change the phone but still...
