Finally after 5 weeks and a day I have a build week for a 2.0 4x4 dsg Edition of week 39 which I believe is 23rd sept 😃

Could it possibly be here before brexit? or at least sitting in the port in this country?

Would be nice if I could have it delivered some time in October

Normally takes 4-5 weeks from build to dealer so you should take delivery end of October.

good news for you! if there is any logic in this process (which there isnt it seems) i should get a build date next week

although given mine is a petrol i'm not holding out much hope as it seems they can get TDI out much quicker than TSI

I read somewhere that skoda update their lists every monday, might be worth giving your dealer another nudge

I ordered same day as you (22nd July) and still no date... promised a date later in the week...

It's insane isnt it, 5 week just to get confirmation that Skoda has accepted your order and is going to build the car 🙄

My dealer took a screen shot of the screen that he was looking at with the order info and the spec as well as order number and build week and e-mailed to me.

I had to contact him to initiate it though, god knows how long they've known and not bothered to inform.

Hope you get your build week soon.

For those interested my dealer has just emailed me and said the order was accepted into the factory system on 21.08.19 (almost a month after placing the order - annoying) and the lead time now is 14 weeks so according to Skoda UK they indicate the car to be built w/c 28.10.19 with delivery 4 weeks after that.

 

So looking at end of Nov - a casual 4 weeks later than the estimated delivery date. 

 

Is the above an 'unconfirmed build date' that i've seen referenced on here before - or just a finger in the air guess from someone on the phone at Skoda UK?

The first build date typically comes down after a few weeks, when they optimise what needs to be built.

I ordered 3rd June and still no build week. Its getting to the point where I may cancel my order.

I can't say I blame you, have you been in touch with your dealer and pushed for info?

Yeh, chased every couple of weeks. Contacted Skoda directly to see what they say.

190 Sportline with a spare wheel

Diesel

The 190 was a 25 week delivery in the TDi when I wanted to order mid July so went with 150 to get can this year

 

So that is probably issue

 

must have some supply issues with parts on 190 or demand?

Also what was your estimated delivery date on your sales agreement? 

Skoda said it is the WLTP testing that should be complete within the next week. Then will receive build week after that.

 

Looks like October delivery. Said if I had ordered 150 diesel I would have had it within the next week or so.

It all becomes a little more palettable when you know what's going on doesn't it.

Looks like yours could be on the same boat as mine if you don't cancel.

Had a call from my dealer on Tuesday to say mine had arrived with them and wanting to arrange a collection date, sadly as I'm on holiday I have to wait a little bit longer.

 

Ordered on 29th June so pretty pleased with that, pretty much exactly when they said it would be here! Chose my 69 reg as well Tuesday, sadly there wasnt anything interesting to pick from though...

my dealer is suggesting October for mine but Skoda Customer Service saying November!

So been on live chat today and just had an unconfirmed build date of 4th November - which would put delivery end November early December - which is 5 weeks later than the 12 week delivery at point of order....

 

Dealer says it MAY improve when it gets confirmed.....
