Query following throttle body replacement

Hi all. I've just replaced the throttle body  on 58 vrs. I fully expected to have to complete a throttle positioning via vcds (which hasn't arrived yet😔). But I had all sorts of lights on the dash. But took it around the block now all the lights are off and the car feels completely sorted. I will complete the positioning once the kit arrives. My question is, is the car ok to drive. Not far just a commute

Hardest part of the job was fitting the hose back on. Stealer wanted £530 for the part alone. I managed to get one locally new £265.
