That is just an artist's impression.

Folks,

Its not happening.  Skoda stated that the Scout was being discontinued for the UK Market as from 2020 - which means no RHD Scout for the UK Market.  You can still get an L&K or SE L variant with rough-road package (aka a Scout); if you are in the market, get one now.

@varaderoguy

Can those still be ordered or do they have to be from stock?

Yes, you can still get those variants.  It is just the Scout variant that has been quietly dropped.

Not neccessarily, Skoda have discontinued models and trims in the run up to the introduction of their replacement for as along as I can remember.

Freeing up the factory to prepare for the new model and to sell through stock of the outgoing model ready for the new ones arrival.

The L&K was discontinued in the UK at the same time as the Scout...

I would personally be very surprised if they don't reintroduce a mk IV version of the Scout. It is a relatively easy variant to produce because the platform supports 4WD and all you need is slightly higher suspension, the rough road kit (presumably that will still be available because of road quality in parts of Eastern Europe), and some trim which is easy and cheap to produce, and you have a new variant which adds some character to the range. But as with previous marks it will probably be the last variant to be introduced.

Skoda Auto will no doubt introduce the Scout again.

The issue will be whether or not Skoda UK choose to import it or not.

I like the look of it... if it didn’t have the fake wood across the dash! Hopefully it comes to the UK!

Given that Skoda UK have been removing Scout variants from most Skoda models on sale in the UK I wouldn't hold your breath 🥴

I know... not sure why as it adds nice variance to the range and with a 200hp diesel available would be desirable I’m sure. Also interested to see if the 4x4 vRS has the 200hp diesel, or the same 184 as it has today, not sure why they would keep both engines in the range myself!

I'd be in the market if they offer a 265bhp 4x4 petrol (not hybrid) vRS.

We can dream haha! But yes I’d also place an order for one immediately!

Looks really nice and tbf the wood trim inside looks ok as well. Fingers crossed it makes it to the UK market as I may well be interested!
