You need to join the signal wires from all four of the rear light modules (according to the diagrams here) into a single one and lead that one to BCM.

@Istarish thank you! So basically i need to bring only single wire to boot area from BCM and split it there.

I personally did the splitting beneath the C pillar interior trims.

Only one cable goes from the BCM to the rear and is then slid to all four lights

I did rear kessy retrofit, so I just prepared the cabling for rear lights, once I had renoved all the trims 🙂

For me (MY17) only when opening the vehicle, not when closing it. The BCM is too old for that. I still have to exchange it.

Wires schema. All wires 0.5mm except mentioned, for RH rear fog light will be on right inner side T4e/1 - T6bh/1(double check it).

 

Preset, all adaptations for FL BCM, but you can use it for preFL BCM.

Since the animation works when you lock it too.

EC has only been around since the facelift. Cannot be found in a 2015 model. My 2017 or a 2018 doesn't have that in it either. 
Therefore it needs to be rebuilt.
