My 2012 TSI 1.2 Roomster goes straight into EPC mode and is undrivable.  I’ve removed the throttle body and cleaned it and checked all the solder joints and cogs. All is ok. I’ve tested the double output Hall effect and it seems fine.
it seems that the turbo has been spewing hot oil at it for a while.

 

I’m willing to replace the unit if I can be sure that will solve the issue. Any ideas?

In my opinion you would be better off asking in the Fabia forums about this as hardly anyone seems to look and reply to questions in the Roomster forum
