Yes, but in all honesty if you have ever driven medium/hard on UK roads you should have a blast on a track, or in this case airfield. You can learn so much!

I was hesitant at attending an a day like this, treated it like a very big fast A road, but with nothing coming the other way Experiment with turn in's, braking...never left the blackstuff, discovered how stable the car was at 70mph in heavy standing water with the width of the M6 to run into.

But yes open to specators, but more on the the day and event/meet to come in another thread very soon

Only because the run off area's were tarmac at Alconbury..

But yes, everyone should do an airfield once, plenty of space to learn, though be aware it can be hard on tyres (or that could just be my driving )

Airfields are great places to learn, more so than normal tracks as they are much wider and have no big nasty bits of armco or concrete for you to hit.

I gather instructors will also be provided if people feel the need.

Matt, I think I know where you are coming from. Hopefully between now and then there will be a few other things happening. Although it's perhaps seen as hard, it's all down to how you approach it. The airfield day I wnet to used less brake material than 500 miles round Wales in a day*.
