Alloy wheel colour

Featured Replies

Hi all, looking to change the look of my 18” alloys, thinking anthracite.
2017 Superb 3 in business Grey I believe the colour is called, anyone else changed colour.

18” anthracite wheels from my mk2 now on my mk3 with all seasons on, my 19’s are still bagged in the garage as only used half tank since March. Also business grey.

Is it just me or do anthracite wheels just look like they're covered in brake dust? Much prefer clean silver.

I ordered these as platinum silver to use as winters, but they look more anthracite to me now they’ve arrived. Not sure if I’m going to fit them Like this or have them Powder coated in a brighter silver.

I've got the 19" Phoenix/Trinity wheels on mine, also Business Grey.

I think the machined/polished finish look works well.

I do like those, just looking at a second hand set, very tempting.

Good look, the polished part of the wheels highlights the silver door trims.

Had my 19's done a 'light' anthracite. Love the look but actually thinking of selling to down-size to 18's (not a big fan of low profiles). Was looking at getting the 18 equivalent as @Martin201 has done.

I think light anthracite is the colour I’ll be getting, might even get the callipers done black.

Mine are original colour, I find these 18” coupled with the cross climates are sooo much softer/ quieter than the OEM 19” wheel tyre combo still on the summer set as JR RS has. Still enjoy the sportier fell of the 19’s though.

Mine are still original silver colour, but showing a couple of light scuffs and just thought whilst been refurbished have a powder coating colour change, but a little undecided on colour, just had 4 Avon 235/45/18 ZV7 tyres fitted, first few hundred miles and seem ok.
