does anyone know if theres been an update today? Users has logged me out as primary user and puts me into guest, when i change to primary user (me) it just says loading settings and gets stuck in a loop, never had this issue until today

I had that a few weeks ago. Went back to car after a few hours and it logged me back in no issues? Today I did see something flash up but did not see what it said? 

Same thing happened to me. Held power button for 10 secs to reset it and it let me back in.

Yeah ive pressed power down for 10 secs let it reset and still nothing, left it a few hours and still the same, odd.

yeah i read this but the problem on theirs is they havent got it to connect, i have and its been connected since i had the had now it wont, ill delete and re add see if it works that way

Deleted account re added now it says unable to load your settings and wont login

Noticed last night the app wouldn't update with the latest journey info, car location, etc and then this morning this happened to me too. When I parked up at work it mentioned something about my account being available next time I input my s-pin and then when I went round and opened the passenger door it welcomed me back using my name/profile.  

 

I do live in a slightly patchy area for mobile signal (down a hill behind a tallish building that seems to block out signals) and I'm hoping it's on skodas server end and it's not that the car can't get it's signal when I'm parked at home.

I'm starting to think this may be the case, it will hopefully sort itself out in a few days. I'm also hoping it's an update to sort out early Bluetooth teething issues with this infotainment system

just phoned skoda they reckon a server went down yesterday afternoon and this could be the fault, they hope it should be back on soon, forgot to ask if theres been an update tbh  

I meant to add, did anybody else notice if the internet radio went down too at the same time? I hadn't used it before I started pressing buttons this morning trying to get it to work but it just came back as unavailable.  Not sure if this is related or a separate issue I haven't noticed before. 

 

I'll find out when Skoda connect starts back I guess.

See picture, it's an option in the radio menu drop down but it just stays loading forever.

Just says loading then fails. Guess you need a data account to use it. Can't see how much the cost though? 

I'm now waiting on the dealer calling me back to arrange a meeting with the service department.  The unit has now completely lost all connections and it's like it's starting up for the first time everytime you get in the car.  Hey ho.

Fml 🤦‍♂️ So decided to double check my settings and data mode was turned off! Thats why it would not connect, it must of turned its self off some how!! Although the internet radio dont work, would like to see what thats all about

ahh! Maybe this is why it dont work.... i seen some where in head unit to upgrade sim for data! Bet this is how u get it to work

Wonder if you can piggyback your mobile data? 

Actually yesterday I have checked and there was an update for the Wifi.

Got the car booked in to the dealer's for the head unit but the earliest is 3rd November! Not happy but it is what it is. 

 

Skoda UK reckon it's a faulty head unit (see photo, unit can't even detect what kind of unit it is!) when I was on the phone, came up with Bluetooth errors and this morning decided to show me the engineers menu and demand an update from a USB. I don't think they set it up properly when they were prepping the car for handover.
