Hello all,

 

My experience with my VCDS is very hit and miss at the moment; latest thing I have tried to enable is both rear fog lights on my 2019 MY19 Octavia Scout.  The Scout has a part LED rear tail lamps - and I've checked that both bulbs are installed on the left hand side (my car is a RHD model).

I've been following the settings from:

and I've also enabled up the brightness from 0 to 100 on the BCM / 09 module.  Still nothing.....

I have done the usual trick of recoding - and performing a soft-reset on the 09 module - as well as turning off/on the car....still nothing.  I still only have the right hand side fog enable.

 

Your help and advice would be appreciated.

So at a guess, I'd change "Leuchte26NSL LA72-Lasttyp 26" to "9 - allgemeine Glühlampe 27W: auch H15" and see what happens.

 

I know you've checked the bulb is there, have you also checked both sides have the same number of wires to the rear cluster?

Works like a dream.

The bulbs was in there and it looks like the wiring was also there too. You just had to tell BCM 09 module:

 

If you have a hybrid lamp (part LED and part incandescent) you need to do:

Leuchte26NSL LA72-Lasttyp 26" to "9 - allgemeine Glühlampe 27W: auch H15"

 

If you have a full LED taillamp e.g. VRS, you need:

Leuchte26NSL LA72-Lasttyp 26" to "40-Glühlampe-LED"

I wouldn't go that far, I just compared the two light channels and pointed out the difference

 

Glad to hear it worked though!

Also wanted to mention that fog lights are still both on when headlights are in Right Hand Drive mode as well. Works for left and right hand driving modes.
