Is it possible to "lift a wheel" in a fabia?

Featured Replies

I've been told by a work colleague that I lift a rear wheel on a roundabout (no braking or lifting off) near my work when driving the Ibiza. Not seen it myself but not sure why he would make it up.

My Mk2 Golf 16V & Corrado G60 used to do it at Sunny Out @ Croft!! :D

Most fixed beam VAG cars will do it, when cornered hard.

a few have managed to lift all wheels, can't beat that!

Is it me that thinks lifting a wheel is bad, means losing grip, or is it merely a sign of good grip on one corner?

It distributes greater downward pressure and hopefully grip to the wheels that actually need it, the rear corner that usually lifts would really just be polishing the ground on a FWD car and there is no great need for it to be touched down,

Obviously RWD or 4WD like to keep these wheels on the ground though
