MY21 Columbus vs Amundsen, what are benefits?

Featured Replies

In far 2016. that was easy choice, Columbus had 8" screen while Amundsen 6",

what gave noticeable difference in the main screen - immediate list of radio stations were 6 vs 5,
and total count of store-able stations also were 3*6 vs 3*5

at built in navigation not interested at all - i prefer Waze for daily  routes and Google Maps for abroad trips

also lose of physical volume knob i can't add to pros list

and next aspect is the real reason why i create this topic - PRICE :(

€1290 RNF - Columbus while €390 RND - Amundsen has been included into
€1600 L&K PLUS pack,

where also come
€310 PE2 - Rear Airbags
€455 PLG - ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
€430 9S0 -  10" DIGITAL INSTRUMENT PANEL
€380 KA2 - Rear View Camera
€140 PKY - Acoustic side Windos and SUNSET for rear Windows

My previous Superb SEL Executive had the Columbus as standard. My new Superb SEL does not. The Columbus has a built in Hard drive for storage of maps, movies, music etc. It can also play movies. It can play CD's and DVD's. The Hard drive has two slots for SD cards.

I would say that none of the above are "must have" items and I could not possibly justify the additional cost to have them
