Same thing here i was promissed 3 months for sure , otherwise we have taken a stock that was available which was an almost same spec..  We still in the waiting game see cars get deliverd that were ordered later June/ July and earlier folks  are in a rough ride.

I waited 9 months for an RS and some people waited less, so it doesn't seem to matter what spec you order, it's pure luck.

@zx14 Can you share where you ordered the car? Which dealer?

The dealer informed me on Thursday last week that the car is ready and is on its way. 1 week later the car is ready to pick up. Maybe it was on that train after all!

Sure. It's Skoda Skerjanec in Domzale. I was there today and it looks like they just got a batch of new cars. Dealer also told me that it's a mess with Octavia now, because of fire in Mlada Boleslava. Info from Skoda is that waiting time for Octavia is now one year. Crazy... ☹️

 

Collected my vRS today, will share photos tommorow. Ordered beginning of October with camera, virtual pedal, canton, side assist, acc and other bits and pieces, petrol, hatchback. When chatting with the dealer, he said due to the fire, octavia orders are now approximately 1.5 years out….

UK waits officially only quoted at 12 months this week!

The Octavia is still one of the best selling cars in Europe even with all the delays, so I don't think it is.

He doesn't know anything... The order looks normal. He ordered the same specs for himself one day behind me and got the car 14 days ago... He is very sorry, but he cannot do anything. Honestly don't know what to do. Maybe buy something else.. Like ds4 or 308? But they don't compare to Vrs, so I guess I'm waiting...

Earth is flat. That must be what they're hiding.

No one has spilled the secrets of how Skoda is scheduling their manufacturing, it could be dependent on regions since they make different cars for multiple regions, it could be quotas per dealer, it could be quotas per certain spec. That's why it might seem random.
