Featured Replies

Oops, my bad. You're right. I confused it with DQ200.

Guys filling out the excel, please use the same time&date format as most of us :)

  • Well 13.5 months waiting and I finally collected my Octy Estate vRS yesterday. I couldn't be happier  👍😀

  • After 13 months waiting my SEL iV Plug in Hybrid arrived.    All seems good with it so far, just to understand some of the infotainment features!

  • Just took delivery of mine but had to cancel some of the optional extras

is it possible to place the table somewhere where you don't have to constantly search through all the comments?

Just bookmark it to your browser or to google drive?

I would delete the "Current Delivery Estimate" column totally and just update the "Delivery estimate" column. I don't believe many will have an accurate estimate when the car is really coming.

Also seems to be only one lucky one in the current data that have the car delivered :D

We can, it's just a matter how do we want to calculate the delay. My logic was: it's either between original promised delivery time and NOW e.g. my order was originally due end of January so now I have ~18 weeks of delay. If we leave only one estimate column we can't really calculate that delay. So, really depends on what kind of information you are looking for.

Maybe just waiting time since order?

I see, yes. Basically it reveals whose dealer has been on the map and honest about upcoming situations.

By the way, there is a bug on the line 47. If the estimates are not filled the delay formula doesn't work as intended.

I made the "Graphs" sheet. Hopefully someone finds it useful as well. Next goal would be to make some history view. To save some data lets say monthly and graph something out of that.

I vote to delete the current delivery estimate and keep the original delivery estimate.

It doesn't make sense to calculate delay from current delivery estimate as people will update that value if they have new estimate. And actual delivery date will tell if the car is there or not.

I don't trust the people will update their lines that often that current delivery estimate keeps up to date. It would be nice to see if dates start to be close to each others meaning cars would be coming out from the factory. But as history has shown us there are no accurate delivery dates currently.

To keep the spreadsheet "clean".

I vote to keep it. Gives us some idea how dealers try to guestimate delivery times. I just got news todady that my RS might come in july/august.

So it seems that there was a positive reception to do a spreadsheet, so I've made one here:

I know we have different trims, countries and configurations, I've done the best to accommodate for that. If someone wants to do some prettification please feel free :)

great effort. would it be worth recording if people have a vin or build date as Y/N fields?

Very nice!

Would it be possible to order by order date?  As we are probably willing to check whether any other cars ordered close to our order date are starting to be delivered.

Hi all, I ordered my car in July 2021 and it was part built in Week 6. Ive chased the dealer and Skoda many times but I can't get a clear answer on when it will arrive. Skoda Customer support said they would put some money on an account linked to my Support case to use against a service when my car eventually arrives. id rather just know when its coming but like most of you I'm still waiting. Ive been without a car now since I sold my golf in March thinking my Skoda was about to arrive !

ive updated the spreadsheet also thanks.

Just got a confirmation. My car is finished, and will be at the dealers in 2-3 weeks.

Hope it doesn’t fall out of the truck 😂

Gz mate 👍

Just wondering why 2-3 weeks for transport to Slovenia? It doesn’t need to board a ship 😁

I think that in this “2-3 weeks” is transport+deconservation (i think that is in Logatec+cleaning+final transport to dealer.

if i waited 10 months, i can another 3 weeks 😂

True, what is 3 weeks compared to 10 months 😉

VIN added as a separate field and updated where applicable

You can create your own filter by clicking the filter icon called "Filter Views". It's second last.

Hi guys.

I just received very positive news. My sales rep. just called to inform me that my car is finished with production and that it is currently in trasport to Croatia. He said that I can expect that the car will be delivered in 2-3 weeks.

Through conversation he also told me that he was in disbelief when the system showed him my car is in transfport because he has some cases of Octavias not being delivered even though they were ordered in April 2021, so he called the factory just to confirm that system is showing correct status for my Octavia and they told him that there is no mistake and that the car is in transport.

My order: Octavia Style 1.5 TSI manual (additionaly, I added rear camera and Pulsar Aero wheels).

I can't find your name in the spreadsheet, when did you order the car?
