you read all the stories about our cars yet which ones are true and others are fairy tales?i would not believe anything skoda says .they have told so many lies how can anyone believe them?why just come out and say what the problem are at first it was micro chips then wiring looms then doors ,just wonder if and when they are going tell the truth/i dont know if i am thick but when you order things you go on a list then you wait your turn.sounds easy does it not but in skodas world common sense does not come into it.you would of thought when the parts come in they would complete the part built cars first but yet again not in skodas little world.a complete shambles and why have heads not come off at the top of skoda office i do not know.

Atm it sounds like only RS are problematic, but they all still are 🤷‍♀️

i was told my car was built but a short delay in delivery and i  am sure it was built before the fire that stopped production of the doors.

i just get info that my order is with out error and i did get 2023 model year, i hope that not means 2023 delivery also.

What do you mean is with out error?

Car dealer had some error in palce where must be date of delivery because i didn't have model year because. seem that was in middle of two model and they now confirm that i will get 2023 model year and not 2022.

So true is that RS has V4 door panels. And true also is that this production not yet working. So all Octavia RS are in delay.

In normal times following years specs go into production late May or June and start to appear at the dealers from July

 

I am guessing from the comments, those that are delayed will become 2023 spec, but they are not ready to build those yet so are queued awaiting start of 2023 spec production.

 

However it is advisable to ask your dealer what year spec you are getting, especially as sometimes things might get dropped (a feature or a paint colour etc), and if you don’t comment you might not get something newly fitted instead, or paint colour will be changed to one you might not want.

I believe you're looking for a crystal ball, which we do not have.

 

My spoon for the soup is information from local Skoda (not dealer), that RS door panels will continue production on june. Dealer said that he can't verify at which point of june will the production start. 

 

Of course its totally different story, that when will some of start getting their RS's.

The car I order 1. July 2021

I placed the order at the end of July 2021 and had the model year 2022 stated in the contract. I checked the status of my order with a local dealer the previous week: they told me the same as you wrote, there will be a 2023 model. I also received info that some orders already placed in February 2021 still haven't received the production date. I don't have any information regarding the production date of my order from July 2021. I am tempted to write directly to Skoda ...🤔. I don't have high hopes, but at least I can try to get some info.

i wrote this morning i hope to get any mail back i ask general question what is happening and that i am waiting on car from july last year

Comision number and VIN number, can your dealer tells you.

So is your car already produced or you have "estimated production" date or confirmed production date?
If you had confirmed production date then wait till this date and hope for no delays and then you will see if your car will be produced and delivered.
Or you can write to Škoda and ask but first contact your car dealer if he has some informations.

@AudreySI you can try but my experience was, that I wrote email last year in December 2022, but they answer to me about semiconductors problems and bla bla and apologizing and told that I must stay in contact with my car dealer 🤦‍♂️
I hope that you get some good true inforations, if you write to Škoda 👍

Thanks for update, so generic answers. I’m sure they are getting a lot of emails lately….but wouldn’t hurt much if they actually provided some info…

this is what bugs me,why not come out with the simple truth and tell us the cause of the delays.instead of telling people different tales,what would it do to the image of skoda be if they did this in the first place.
