Maybe he meant pre-built model from warehouse , not based on specific specs that we select if we order individually. My dealer is Baltieva in Kaunas.

 

Only positive thing from this situation is that price is fixed, whenever the car comes, price will remain as it was in 2021. For example if I ordered the same car today, it would be 2,5-3K EUROs more.

Well, i have none of them, and wait time is still at least 19 months,i think Skoda have bad management, and this is main reason of such chaos.

Yes, but yours is a MHEV, which is in its own class regarding delays. I was talking about non hybrid cars.

Can you order DSG-7, 1,5 TSI,  without MHEV? Because here only petrol engine avalaible without MHEV is 2.0 TSI, and all other pertrol engines are MHEV.

or go in a larger group to dealers and demand answers. Because this is really going nowhere, or even from bad to worse.

Yes, I think there are quite many of us and if we stand together, we might actually achieve something, get some info at least. One by one they seem to brush us off (like at service where they claim that no mk4 has those issues while you know at least 4 ppl who have the same problem) easily.

I seriously doubt this would change anything. We are nothing to Skoda.

I think they also have no clue, but one thing is fishy to me about them. Friend of mine went in and said he wants a Skoda and that he wont wait a long time. They said he can choose between one diesel and one hybrid, wait time 2 months. He chose hybrid and got it in less than 2 months. I know somebody probably canceled those orders, but I guess they did know the status of those cars. 🤔

well another delivery update friday afternoon looms.i am expecting another 7 day push back just like every friday since ordering.

I'm thinking of cancelling the order, not because of the wait, but software and hardware issues, but not yet as I'm watching the ongoing situation with it.

@Joss1733 could you remind us what exactly you ordered and from what dealership and when this was, and are you buying or leasing the car?

hi it is vrs estate 4x4 dsg  200 .bhp   diesel,it is a lease car from 21st century lease cars through skoda finance.ordered 21 may 2021.orignal delivery date was 21 september thats when the fun starts push back after push back.then in febuary[i think]told car was built but a slight delay in delivery.so i thought a month or so but should of known better.last update last friday was delivery 03/06/22 not confirmed.so again awaiting for the update e mail this afternoon and not holding my breath.i see sombody is at  it again  about slagging people off who in his opinion are mithering and like a stuck record.is this all he does slagging people off.can i suggest if you dont want to read just go to the next subject sick .sorry about the rant about this guy,it does not reflect on all of the other people who are on here helping people out with there woes.cheers

I agree, however tends to grate when the same people whinge and whine about it and Maximus is one of the worst, yet others who are in the same position remain patiently quiet.

i agree as well but you do take the biscuit at times,it is not the first time we have locked horns over these things.you mither about soft ware etc yet nobody says anything the reason been we all want to hear what is happening out there good or bad.one thing for certain you will not stop me putting my thoughts about delivery times.as maximus says and i am in complete agreement with him ie go ahead and cancel you will not be missed.i will not be commenting on any of your replies to this because imo you are looking to cause problem.
