Got my Octavia (150 bhp) re-mapped yesterday (22/05/06) and all I can say is WOW! It has been totally transformed. There is a lot more torque everywhere, even in 5th. I think it may need another gear as 5th feels like 4th.

Claimed my first victim, a modified honda prelude. He came up next to me at the lights and began revving his car. As the lights changed I let him pull in front. I accelerated in 2nd and had to brake hard so as not to run in the back of him. He pulled into the middle lane and I floored it and the Octavia flew past him:rofl: I slowed down after he was getting a bit small in the rear view mirror. He pulled up next to me and nodded his approval.

I would highly recommend a visit to Jabbasport. I found them to be very helpful and friendly.

remaps rule. what bhp is it now?

I plan to sharpen the handling with some lowering springs and a strut brace as well as upgrade the brakes and the intercooler.

I would also like to replace the chrome grill with a black one to match the colour of the car.

I got a generic map so I dont know its bhp. The guys at Jabbasport did say that it felt very strong so based on that I would say 195 - 205.

You'll want better brakes now, I know I did! The 312mm discs are easy to put on.

i will be paying them a visit once i have put some more goodies on. rolling road remap for me. expected 230-250bhp. yummy

Something to remember.....we have done many remap group buys with Jabba and must be close to having put 100 BRISKODIANs on their rollers.

Do they charge the same amount for a re-remap as they do for the first one? I'd imagine if you had it tweaked every time you improved the car in other ways it would get VERY expensive at £475 a pop.
