Front windows opening slightly automatically on entry ???

Recommended Posts

Does another else have an automatic "feature" on their Superb, that will slightly open the front windows when you open the door, and then the windows close on shutting.

I've been told that it might be to ease the air pressure on the inside to allow the doors to close more easily, given that the door seals are so good !

Is this a designed in function or a fault ???

Ooowah! I like that idea! Can you make it possible to code it to open one or just the front windows or do they all drop? Anyone know the VCDS coding?

This - to me - sounds like the window drop feature used on cars with frameless windows. The window tucks up under the seal when closed.  To open or close the door though, the window needs to be dropped.

A completely pointless feature on the Superb, which has a frame.

Indeed. Making others aware that they don't need to learn to code.

Yup.

I would never use the apps as u have no idea wat the app is doing to achieve it's target.

I'd rather do each bit step by step, so I know exactly wat has been changed.

Plenty have used apps with no issues.

Just as many have used apps with adverse side effects, and being unable to reverse the changes out completely.

End of the day - tis ur car, ur choice.

To me, making this happening only on the door you're opening/closing would make the most sense...🤔
