Do you know which one is the fuse for SOS module?

No, I don’t, sorry

It seems to be Fuse #19 ("emergency call") in the dash panel.
It's also a good idea to check for your car version - the image below is for the 2022 model:

Eventually the garage sorted things by recoding the keys. After that was doe I was able to set myself up as the primary user.

Yo guys, I also have this issue on a 2020 mk4 VRS! I emailed Skoda Support and they suggested a factory reset on the infotainment system, uninstall the app, reinstall the app, delete my car, readd my car, stand on one leg, all of which did **** all!

They then said book it in with a local Skoda dealer and let them know who it was and when it was and they would contact them to provide what needs to be done.

My local Skoda dealer wants £140 to look at the issue before anything is done!!! As far as I can see, all my software is up to date bar my sat nav data base (19.7)

I've had the car 10 weeks and I'm thinking that I dont need the extra cost to be a user/primary user if all it enables you to do is use the app and online shop 🤷🏾‍♂️

Connect your car to your home wifi, that was the only way I could do it.

Hi @Neily03 Brilliant, thank you 😊

Is the Wifi setting in one of the menus? I've not seen that anywhere yet.

Just looked at the online manual and found it!! I'll try tonight, watch this space!! 🙌🏾

Itried everything possible to get the infotainment to accept me as a primary user. AS the car was still under Skoda warranty at the time and only bought from the dealer a few weeks earlier I wasn't prepared to pay anything to have the fault fixed. Skoda replaced the infotainment 'computer' to no avail. Eventually someone in the dealership contacted someone they knew in Skoda and was told it needed a reset of both keys. They did this and presto, problem solved.

@campbell24 I will try the 'cheaper' option 1st of the home Wifi but as mine is out of warranty, god only nos how much they will charge for both keys to be recoded!! But thank you 😊

**Update**

I connected my car to my house wifi and....... nada, stiil the same message, 'sorry, unable to load your settings'! I tried a few times with the same result.

Unfortunately I am not willing to pay £140 for Skoda to 'diagnose' the problem and then to charge me to re-code both my keys just so I can access my car through the app 🤷🏾‍♂️😔

I use the same USB-drive that I'm plugging into the car for Music, so it's there all the time.

Just to check @SkOmk4 - does that mean that you can put the files on the root of the USB and it doesn't matter that there are other folders alongside it ("Music")? You don't have to use a blank USB?

Yes, that's how I updated the Navigation database; I wasn't using an empty USB.

Thanks - same issue for me with my lovely '24 reg Octavia.  I'll contact the dealership and see what they say.

I had an indepth discussion with [email protected] and eventually I was told that there was a software update that woyld correct this issue and I would have to book it in at a Skoda dealer and then inform [email protected] of the date and dealer name so they could contact them with the required information/software update required. But unfortunately it was going to cost me £280 for the privilege!

To say I was miffed at this was an under statement! Whats to stop them doubg 2 updates a year a trying to chrge me nearly £600  for it? 🤷🏾‍♂️ And just so I can use an app on my phone and to be a user on my own car, thanks but no thanks.

Good luck @pingpongpete1 on a brand new car, they need do better 🙏🏽

Just received my new facelifted RS here in New Zealand and learnt that we don’t have any of these features. No app or profiles available. I had been hoping to use them so my wife and I could more easily drive the car.  Still luckily at least we can set the seats and mirrors to the memory settings on the seats. Amazing that you can’t even code the keys to these. My 2012 Subaru had that feature!

So @whippersnapper yours is just like mine but I've not got electric programable seats! Lol

Love the car but Skoda need to sort all these niggles out and not charge for software updates on a 4 year old car, well any car tbh.

Hope you enjoy your new car mate 👍🏽
