OCU Update

Featured Replies

Update from my previous post: sorry I think I had a refresh problem from OBD Eleven app, update of OCU to 143 is OK!

@Rainesh I still have no connectivity on MIB and you said in a previous post next step is an OTA update. Will update come automatically even if I am not set as main user (still unreachable with infinite "Loading" message") ? If not, how could I get It ? Would MIB update from version 330 to 332 solve the problem ?

Thanks in advance for your help

Hi,

I have a 2019 Skoda Scala Ambition, with the following telematics unit.
I had to change the battery and since then the MySkoda app can not connet to the car.

Tried to reset the setting in car, but since then it is not able to finish the connection.

I know there were a change from Skoda Connect to MySkoda app this year, and I think the issue is connected to that change.

So, all in all I want to update my Swing unit, I found the update files for it, but where can I find update files for OCU unit?

Checked this page, but there is no file for 5WA035282: https://mibsolution.one/#/1/9/OCU

Thanks!

Hi, do you have an Android phone or iPhone ? If Android, before system upgrade you can test by installing old application MyŠkoda Essentials, APK is available here: https://skoda-connect.fr.aptoide.com/app

Hello @Rainesh and everyone,

I will be pleased if you could help with a piece of advice about a problem that I have with my MIB3 unit from a Skoda Superb iV MY2020.

So, I'm seeing 2 cities from Cyprus (always same 2 cities) in random places everywhere on the maps, and they appear mostly when I zoom out.
Maps are stuck to 23.6. Tried with offline update via USB, also with Infotainment Online, no change, no new road appeared, nothing.
Swap codes are looking good, the 00071c00 appears to be installed and valid.

While navigating throughout other countries, maps are looking.. not great, not terrible, however, navigating through Cyprus is a total mess (please see the attached picture).

The unit was updated by dealer from 0156 -> 0278 -> 0308 -> 0330 by dealership. OCU also updated.

I managed to update to 0332 recently, update ended successfully and the emmc ended with status "New", however, nothing changed on the maps.
Connected with ODIS, tried to format the Navigation Data Bank, but every time I tried to start the operation, it would just return "Incorrect Results" as the outcome and won't do anything.

Do you guys think there is anything that could be done further at this point or the maps will be "bricked" forever on this unit?

Regards,
Alex

Update Telematics to 143. Then run the OTA update and then it should be fixed

Hello @Rainesh ,

My configuration seems to be OK with MIB 330 and OCU 143 but OTA update never comes (maybe because I cannot become primary user). Would it be possible for you to provide this update and then I could run it from service menu locally ?

I Tomorrow go to update my OCU from 0143 to 0306 (Kodiaq MY21)

Not make upgrade because in the server not found new release or perhaps not exisiting.

Can someone help me understand which OCU file I need please? I'm having the same 'primary user' problem as many others have had with my MY20 Karoq. I've updated the MIB3 system to 330 from 276 which has allowed me to get to the point where it asks me to unlock with both car keys, and it recognises the presses but then doesn't actually register as primary user (see screenshot below).

Here's the data on the OCU version:

Each time I've tried to update the OCU all the options are greyed out similar to this post. What am I doing wrong? I've tried 141 and 143 from the Mega link.

Thanks in advance!
