Which all season tyre?

Featured Replies

Anyone tried the Pirelli cinturano all season SF3?

I had CC2 before and they were good, but the Pirelli's seem better in the wet in the tests and around here it's wet most of the time.

I am tempted to try the SF3, but from what i hear, the CC3 has much better longevity, and with the milage we can do, thats a positive!

I should have got the Pirelli, there was nothing much difference price wise & the Pirelli are Self Seal and i am not carrying a spare in the EV. The CrossClimate 3,s are just so so on Snow. OK in wet and cold and dry.

I've had them fitted now, worked out to be about £96 a corner + spare (185/65R15). Not so worried about the wear as only do 4k a year now.

I had CC3s fitted to my MY22 Karoq on Wednesday.

Didn't realise there was an All Weather Tyre forum let alone a thread or I would have posted in here.

You can read what I think about them so far in the thread I started the Karoq forum but got moved to this one.

Can't comment on longevity after only 2 days but basically I rate them.

My pickup came on tyres i had never heard of. 'Radar Renegade A/T 5'. 3PMSF. I thought just cheap rubbish and they might prove to be. But reviews on them are OK and they are inexpensive. 245/65 R 17,s. So far i have driven in the wet with them and on 2 frosty mornings and they are fine. Quiet running and sure footed so far in Rear Wheel Drive. Time will tell how they behave when very wet or icy or snowy, but they are staying on for now till i see if they behave.

Looks like they are a Singapore based tyre manufacturer... Which would tally with the car being made in Thailand.

@skomaz I doubt original fitment on a 8 year old vehicle with over 100,000 miles.
