Octavia doing daily DPF Regens

Featured Replies

Hi all,
Sorry if this topic has been covered before - I did a search and didnt see it.
My Octavia III (2017) has been doing frequent DPF Regens, with the revs at 1200rpm at tickover and the cooling fan staying on after the engine stops.
This happens most days, and has been doing this for over a year.
I have tried long runs on the motorway, but that makes no difference.
I have tried using an OBD reader but there are no fault codes for the engine.

Thanks in advance for any advice on sorting out this annoyance on an otherwaise great car.
