Hi, sorry if someone has asked before I am new and can’t find a search function in my phone.

I am about to buy a Superb estate SE L and a few do have rear cameras on Autotrader but not the majority. Is there a way to have a Skoda approved one fitted that works with the inbuilt infotainment system rather than an aftermarket one? If it’s possible has anyone had it done and know where is good to do it and about how much it costs? Thanks.

fitted one last week was a pia at time with feeding cables through but easy enough

I would rather pay someone to dismantle the car for me and do it? I am really good at taking things apart and then finding they don’t go back together properly 😂 is there a place that specialises in fitting them? Or a certain camera I need to buy that fits into the blank slot in the boot and works with the Skoda system?

Nah a lot less than that. I remember speaking to her years ago and got a price but don’t want to quote it incase it’s changed as it was a couple of years back.

I wanted to give it ago with some other stuff I’ve did to the car lately.

I've since wired a front/rear dashcam which included removing all the boot trim so would probably attempt it myself nowadays.
