Karoq 1.6 Diesel DSG Multiple faults...

Featured Replies

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone can help.

We have a 191 Skoda Karoq diesel DSG.

Every other time we’re driving all these faults come up on the dash and it goes to limp mode. At the moment the faults aren't up but give it a day or two and they will be back

We’ve had it in with Skoda in Galway and basically they said they’ve to do a multitude of things to try find the problem.

They replaced the DPF sensor as it was melted but problem came back around an hour after driving out of the garage.

Haven’t had a chance to get it back yet but don’t want to be running up a bill for thousands on things that don’t need doing…

If anyone has had similar issues or ideas, I’d be grateful.

Ive attached a couple of fault photos

TIA

First one, just top up if you can and see if it goes.

Front assist unavailable. Front sensor problem.

Other 3. Likely to be an ABS sensor fault or sensor wiring fault. This may affect the front assist system as well.

Anecdotal evidence suggests a failing battery can generate numerous assist faults. So it might be an idea to get it tested.

Thanks Guys. We had a new battery installed but faults permitted, albeit less frequenty. I have read stuff about abs sensors so will look into that!!

Was the new battery coded to the car? I've had rear wheel ABS sensors fail on a VW and that threw up a lot of errors all related to safety systems. The left wheel ABS sensor failed after driving through deep at the side of the road.
