Order the covers which take around 10 days to arrive and then fitted normally by 2pm. They'll drop you off in York.

If you call them ask for Paul and quote the Briskoda/Stu discount.

very nice, tempted to get it myself

how much was it in total then?

Have you read the rest of the thread??

The seatsurgeons also put leather on the doorcards giving a much better effect.

yeah i read the £780 bit but didnt know it was spot on

Another vote for Seat Surgeons.

do they only have the one outlet? Youk is a long way to travel

There was talk of them having an outlet in the south somewhere.

Give them a ring.

Do you have to tell your insurers about having leather seats etc fitted? Looking at doing this myself after the wedding (and I have some money again) but sick of insurers wanting to know about every little thing, such as non standard air fresheners etc.

Any modification away from factory spec should be declared to your insurer.;)

Yeah, ****ers charged me for my options :(

Yeah, thought as much. Is fitting a leather interior 'insurer friendly' or do they see it like a remap and a set of wheels, causing them to poo their pants?

It potentially could increase the risk of theft so it would be wise to declare it. That said, they're most likely to just note it on the policy and not increase the premium. Better doing that however than having a claim declined on the basis of "non disclosure of material facts" ;)

I believe that they now have an outlet in Addlestone Surrey (check the prices as I heard a rumour that they may charge more in the South).

Neither outlet has a website - but you should find them in yell.co.uk

BTW: they do an excellent job - and you get a good choice of colours - I have red perforated seat and back panels surrounded by a dark grey, with red stitching - looks very nice. And it seems to firm up the seating a little too. Excellent value for money

any chance of a piccy furelise ?

Yes they do have an outlet in the London area, phone York for more details.

The contact numbers etc are on my Fabia website.

I will take a piccie at the weekend and try to post it for you.

Cheers

auroran - OK now I have the piccies BUT I can't figure out hw to post them on the forum - it asks for an http:// URL - but I don't run awebsite - so I'm a bit stumped.

Can anyone advise me please?

Another vote for the seat surgeons. Excellent job all round. My Dad had a car done there too, and it was actually better than a factory option IMO.

Get a Photobucket account and host them there. It's free. You can then link to them.
