Hi all,

Just wondering what the cambelt interval on a 1.6 Greenline III is. I’m seeing conflicting information online.

I’ve just bought my old Octavia back and the belt was done before I originally bought it in 2020 at 90,000ish miles. The car has now done 140,000 miles so I’m guessing it’s overdue? It’s been owned by a family member so I know the car hasn’t had the belt done during their ownership.

Looking to get it booked in if it is actually due, but just wanted to make sure it definitely is before I shell out.

Also what’s the going rate for a cambelt & water pump change at an indie currently?
