swissol products are made in switzerland and is outside the EU.

My products are made here by me in the UK.

Due to so, so many requests over the last 3 yrs I have decided to start making wax and paint cleaners again.

Since selling to swissol in 2000/2001 and under our agreement I was NOT allowed to make waxes and paint cleaners and some other goodies. This cos I am still helping them in make/develop new products...one of which will be the soon to be launched wheel wax called Autobahn wax with Teflon. this wax I experimented with and made a small supply last year and due to the popularity of it it is now to into full production.

After many talks etc, I am now allowed to start making some products again as long as I do directly interfere or hinder swissol. So therefore i will relaunching my old Merlin wax and some paint cleaners and also an all in one product.

I currently make MC2 and some shampoo and glass cleaner.

So WW products will be:

1) merlin wax supplied in tins or maybe pots...enuff for 30 to 40 applications

applicator pads for the wax. Applied to the whole of the paintwork (even in direct sunlight) and buffed with so little effort.

2) paint cleaner in two grades and both available in either250ml or 500ml and applicator pads for the paint cleaner.

3) glass cleaner in 750ml trigger spray or bulk in 5 litre

4) MC2 in 5 litre or 25 litre

5) microwipes for buffing either paint cleaner or wax or acrylic paint seal

6) acrylic paint seal available in 500ml only sizes. Designed for the person who does not like waxing or polishing. This formula has taken some 10 yrs to get perfect!!! What's more it is MISTAKE PROOF! and so simple to apply and easy to apply and buff be it shade or direct sun. In one application it will clean paint, seal the pores and activate the gloss and needs to be re-applied every 3 to 6 months for optimum performance.

On all paints this product will protect against sun, salt, weathering, chalking, oxidation, discolouration/fading, bug acids tree sap etc etc etc etc. Not only this one can use it on wheels as well instead of wax.

One lucky person on this forum will get a bootle, applicator and buff towels to try out F.O.C. Any polish haters or keen waxers who be prepared to try this ....please email me with name and address and i will forward a sample to try and report to all.

So the other differences twixt swissol and wax wizard. 1) price and 2)presentation.

Swissol products are professionally presented. WW products are by comparison lack lustre with plain labelling and plain containers...but it saves money and investment.

A lot of the swissol products are my old formulae and have over the last 3 odd yrs been improved and therefore

this is where my "love" lies if you know what I mean.

However, to many many peeps, swissol products look fabulous but are out of reach due to price etc etc. This was eveident last year on this forum and indeed elsewhere. Colin of this forum asked me after many emails and phone conversations if I could make up a kit that would be cheaper and within reach/budget. After many talks in Zurich, i have been given a long lead and hence the above small product range.

The products (wax, paint cleaner) have similar chemistry as the swissol ones but to keep the price down, expensive natural oils have been deleted. Instead plain oils are used and therefore the nice aroma's with swissol are not apparent in the wax wizard. However they are made and prepared in the same exacting ways and standards.

So swissol....fabulous products and beatifully presented but out of reach to a lotta peeps.

Wax Wizard products...fabulous products, plain smelling, one man produced/bottled and labelled and palin looking but more than affordable.

...and who's Adrian ?
He's our resident bulk discount guy and owns a silver vRS - hence my inadvertent hiccup over your name, Geoff! Forgive me, Geoff and Adrian?:flowers::flowers:

If I wasn't such an easy going guy I may have been offended Denis. ;)

I always thought hiccup was spelt hiccough?

Andy

Hmm. Having read the raving reviews, I might give it a try, especially if it adds up a little less than the cost mentioned on the other post

Count me in :D

Andy

That's an alternative spelling - but hiccup is the commonly used form. :agree:

With common being the operative word :D
