Pictures of modded Octavias please

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if all you guys and girls who have their Octavia's modded (mainly aftermarket alloys 17" and 18" and suspension) could post some pictures so I could see what they look like and have an idea of what alloys would suit such a car (I am interested in function as well, I know that Compomotive alloys are good as well as OZ Superleggerras in terms of weight etc.) but I also want them to look good. If you could add they mods you have and the performance figures as well that would be great (I don't ask for much do I!!!)

Thank

Aaquil (To be an Octavia owner one day).

Post your e-mail address & I will e-mail them to you, I have absolutely no idea how to post pics

This is mine on 18" alloys, with 245/something or other P-Zeroes on them.

Performance figures...er...60 comes up in about 10 seconds, and I am reliably informed it can do 121mph...

Rob.

Come on guys and girls shows me your cars (Octavias please). I want to see what they look like with alloys fitted...to be honest I'd like to see some whatever you have fitted to them!!!

Stuart have you sent you pictures...I don't know because I can't get into my Hotmail e-mail account!!!

Thanks

Aaquil.

Aaquil have you looked at Manny's site? http://www.octaviars.com - specifically the gallery pages - lots of pics there.

Have a look in the gallery section on MY website rather than the briskoda gallery. www.octaviars.com

Look at the gallery section, then octy RS, then check the silver section. There are some in there, 2 spring to mind and they are Lloyds and ****'s. Also Checkout Jacco's in the Black Gallery. Some of the pics are lower quality than when the gallery was created, I do have the original images if you want clearer ones.

Huge piccie alert!

Aaquil Tried to e-mail you with about 4 pics & it was returned with the message below, sent it again with one pic & it hasnt come back so I guess its lurking somewhere in your hot mail account, looks like it might need emptying

Thank you all for all the good links etc. I like the Black Octavia with the OZ alloys, the Silver one with the BBS alloys is nice as well (All the cars are nice but those especially).

I don't suppose there are any modded with alloys and lowered 1.8T 4X4 Estates?

Thanks

Aaquil.

TaviaRS,

That is a TOP looking Octavia the ride height is really sorted and the alloys really suit the car. RS6 from where? From the Audi RS6?...was that a stupid question? If so is it the right fitment etc. for the Octavia...is that a stupid question as well?!!!

Put some more pics on I'll have to show the wife those.

Thanks

Aaquil.

Aaquil,

Yep, from the Audi RS6 :D Borrowed from Ffelan, complete with trashed tyres (well, they were by the time I finished with them ;) )

Have a look through the events section, northern, and look for the Anglesey threads. They are linked form there.

Jon

More of mine are available on www.slowblackskoda.com (yeah, I know, I need to finish it  )

Jon,

I would seriously consider putting them on my Octavia (If I ever get round to getting one!!!). Is the fitment etc. correct for the Octavia? What tyres do you have on them?

Thanks

Aaquil

they are octy/golf fitment.

Here we go...

It's clicky btw...

Octavia 4x4 Jan01

KWv2

Team Dynamic 5 spoke Alloys @ 70

Also APR chip (95/98/TBA/FCE)

I understand this car to be on sale in Cornwall still, had a new gearbox and clutch fitted as well post trade in...

Ran really well on A roads and tracks, but bumpy B's well it was a little sumpingtasticly worrying at times, certainly not scooby stiff :( ...but I understand Stuart has resolved this issue and KWv3 don't suffer similar issues anyway.

More pics of car actually being driven here

Ffelan,

That is a long list of mods on a lovely looking car a real track monster!!! Well impressive...that must have cost you a tidy sum. I have some interesting mods to add to my 'yeah you wish...' list thanks for the input. What is a POWER GASKET and what benefit does it bring about?

ColinD,

Nice car...especially the choice of alloys, they can make or break a car the alloys (That's what I think anyway). How does your suspension set up compare to the KW3 (Is that right?). I would probably do just fast road rather than track with my estate (if and when I get the estate...I am thinking about the hatch now...). Can u lower the car with suspension u have or did you use lowering springs?

Thanks for the help.

Aaquil.

power gasket sits between manifold and block to prevent heat trasfer and keep intake temp down.
