Also keen to see what the plate holder looks like painted. To do with the side rubbing strips, I am thinking of having mine coded. My wifes A3 has colour coded rubbing strips and in 5 years have not been damaged. You can see when they have been touched by other cars but it just polishes of and there is no paint damage to the strip itself.

dont want to take mine off (tho it looks good without) so painting them is the next best thing.

Went into White Dove in Cardiff today. They have no.40 on the showroom.

According to them they have 8 or 9 cars allocated and should all be delivered before May 1st!

White dove said they should have all 8 or 9 with customers before May 1st. Griffin Mill havn't even got one yet, and no dates for delivery, dispite all 8 having buyers.

Got my deposit back from white dove on tuesday car just did not do it for me. So maybe a spare car on there list? (was first on the list)

First post for me and hoping to collect my first Skoda (Ltd Vrs) soon. Has anyone managed to get the Ltd number that they wanted or are the cars just coming through in any order and no opportunity to choose numbers? My dealer says that the two cars that he has received he never got the chance to choose numbers for them. Seems like a good idea on paper but in practice it's falling to pieces. Not got a date for delivery but hoping it will be soon!

Can anyone explain why SUK are *so very bad* at informing their customers (franchised dealers) throughout the UK about the availability of these cars.

Even some official notice that these cars would be available for delivery 'when ready' or even [very optimistically] 'before the end of April (or May)' would have been appreciated, rather than the complete silence, but nothing is forthcoming.

Come on Skoda, get your act together!

BTW, I passed chatham skoda in edinburgh on the train today and they had a ltd. ed. on their forecourt. Anyone expecting one soon ?

mine arrives this week simpsons had one this week and got it to its lucky owner just before i could take a look i am second on the list apparently so should have mine by next weekend. Don't know what number but i have picked my reg so i feel a bit closer.

Just been told by my dealer that the supply of leather seats is backdated...hence the delay on deliveries or lack of info on delivery dates.

Anyone else know anything about this or am I being fobbed off? :irked:

Well i've just come off the phone with Horners in manchester and they said their unsure how many car's they'll be getting - if that is the case I'm gonna hit the roof as i've paid a deposit and removed my current car from sale (as i'm trading it in).

Has anyone got their Ltd vRS's from Horners and if so any problems?

Only down side, being the sad git that I am I wanted a specific number, I was under the impression we could order it, and if it was available we could have it. I got 393, but I wanted 999, coz I'm a Paramedic, told you I was a sad git:rofl:

I didn't even git the chance to have something else if 999 wasn't available, I was given that one, and 393 means nothing to me at all, there are other numbers I would have had.

It just needs to be registered, and PDI'd and it's MINE:thumbup:

I know what you mean about the numbers, I wanted either 13 (Birthday) or 666 (no major reason) but I don't even have a delivery date :(

Did they give anyone the option to choose there number ?

When they did the Limited edition MR2 roadster you could choose your number from the available ones and options at the same time and IIRC your name could be stitched into the seat to.

Didn't get the choice, but then again, I never asked as I figured it would just hold things up...been waiting so long now I'm glad I didn't
