And now for the good news... I have ordered 50 of the buggers, after I received a price that was bearable by the credit card. Am expecting delivery sometime in the next week or two. Until then you are free to admire mine and add your name to the list, as you will have the 1st refusal to the 50 available. First come, first served :thumbup:

The price works out as follows:

* Surround (per item): £9.50

* Packaging&Handling (per order): £0.50

* Postage (per order): At cost. I am awaiting delivery of my packaging materials at the moment and then I'll be able to give an accurate price for this. Collection is of course also possible.

* Paypal fee (only to be added if paying by paypal): At cost. Once I know the cost of postage I will be able to calculate this too.

So £10 + post. Sounds ideal. I would imagine two will be around £1, as I don't think the package will qualify for the smaller envelope (thinner than 25mm), in which case it is £1 minumum. Then it depends on weight. I think it's £1 right up to 100g

751-1000g 270p

1001-1250g 474p

The new postage prices have thoroughly confused me, so I'm not even going to try and estimate what the postage is. It will be somewhere between £1-£1.70 I imagine if the above are the weights associated with the size of the package.

How does the front surround fit on a Fabia ? I ask because its curved

The surround is slightly flexible, the Octavia front is slightly curved too, so the screws (not included btw!) just hold it tight against the car.

Nope, you're well on time :)

I've just send andy2407's surrounds, and the postage came to £1.70 (444g). Looking up on Royal Mail's website it falls in the 251-500g range of packets, and as I can not see that posting a single surround would be in the lower category, I may just as well stick to one postage charge.

The official prices are as of now:

* Surround (per item): £9.50

* Packaging&Handling (per order): £0.50

* Postage (per order): £1.70

* Paypal fee (only to be added if paying by paypal): £0.62 (for a single surround) or £0.95 (for two surrounds)

So if you want two and pay by paypal, it would cost you £22.15. Hope that makes sense :)

I guess the weight isn't much affected for one or two surrounds, eh? :)

Yeah, if it does turn out to be cheaper I'll refund the few pennies inside the parcel, and amend the pricing above.

Collection from Aylesbury or London Docklands is also possible btw.
