Paint colour

A friend of mine had a P-plate wagon which was a great q car (complete with farmer's car interior!) with a bigger turbo than the facelift cars and I had some fun driving that. My own one was a '98 facelift car which the previous owner had kindly had a full leather interior, 17" wheels and Prodrive QuickShift fitted to :D I also fitted, some bigger brakes and a more "efficient" exhaust and filter that made the car go and sound much better and was RR'ed at 251bhp (although I suspect that might have been an optimistic RR!) :D

Sadly, I had to let it go, otherwise it would have been going in for an engine chip and then letting Powerstation loose on it upgrading all the suspension and ARB's

Blimey, all this nostalgia is making me look on Autotrader :o:rofl:

Chris

I forgot to mention I had it chipped. The first one had the farmers interior complete with zip off seat covers. The chairs had absolutely no side support at all!! Still I go it on the road brand new for

Yes you are right its Solitaire code 9880. I took the chasis number into my local Basildon agent and he was very helpful and after a couple of days came back with the info. They are getting me some spray tins and a touch up stick, only taking a couple of days.

The car is for my daughters but I have been using it every day since we got it. My wife has suggested I get one for myself if I really want to do the body restyling, I am tempted.

Thanks for all the suggestions on the paint.

Melvin do remember its a TWO pack colour, you'll need the clear top coat too, or you'll end up with masty little duff/dull spots.

and do get one for yourself :) great value, very tough (ok bit cheap) but last way better than fords and the like
