We have competition chaps, taken from the Czech Skoda forum!!!!

There are 8 cars (16 people) from our Bulgarian Club, which will travel to Doksy (September??). I want to aks you again - who can I contact with for our comming to CZ ??? Can anyone cooperate us??? Must we pay anything in advance (on which account can we transfer the money), can we sleep in our tents there, or we must reserve a hotel?

Please tell us about any other necessary info, which can be usefull and which is important weto know.

Good News, your hotel rooms have now been paid for in full (by Bank transfer so may take a couple of days to clear)

Bad News, I have been waiting on one final payment from Sooty and have failed to gain contact with him despite several PM's and e-mails! :( , this means that the extra I had built in for the cost for T-Shirts has now gone :thumbdwn: , nice one mate!

Sooty, You can still redeem yourself by contacting me, your room is paid for and I believe you have already sorted your ferry crossing, so PLEASE contact me!!!!!!

Seems to suggest he hasn't been checking emails/BRISKODA for quite some time. Maybe someone has a phone number for him? Worth posting a FAO in General for it?

Considering the trip is not long away, to have not visited the site in 4 weeks does seem a bit odd. :confused:

Life sometimes takes over J. Maybe he's just become a dad, or his mum turned ill... plenty of reasons why someone is unable to check back. If someone has a phone number of him, it may help to find out his status.

And just a Q:why did you pay in advance for accomodation without having everybody`s cheque?:confused: If he ran out of deadline just offer his place to someone else!

The place will be offered to someone else eventually, going to give the chap a little more time to respond as we do not know what the circumstances are as to why he has not been on here for a while.

I had to reserve a number of rooms and places to guarantee that we'd get the accomodation we needed and I paid a deposit out of my pocket to secure it!. If anyone else fancies organising something like this next year be my guest, it ain't easy believe me!
