All,

Since I'm often twidlling my fingers trying to think of yet more work for myself and wondering what you all think thus far, I'd like to ask you the BRISKODIANS if you would like to provide some free format feedback

Anything on your mind, heart or soul regarding BRISKODA. All comments will remain confidential to me and me alone, topics raised will be dehumanised to protect the innocent.

If you want, I hope to see at least one, then email it to colind"briskoda.net PLEASE NOTE: Correct the obvious typo " = @ Sorry I have way to much spam and these pages are scaned for email accounts.

Label it "BRISKODA FEEDBACK" so my spam tool does not delete it.

Topics for thought:

Somthing we are doing right.

Somthing we should stop right now.

Somthing we could do better.

Feeformat comments.

Thankyou.

Quick bump to keep this process alive.

Please feel free to say whatever. I'll hopefully have an anonymous feedback system in place soon...although honestly it's as good as with my memory ;)

My only request as always is a "quick as poss version" for those of us who cant get broadband because BT are a bunch of ******** & wont give us a line that will cary it

I WILL ADD that since the move it does seem quicker

Suggest you go & enjoy yourself away from the monitor

No complaints.

Just keep the site browser-neutral, so that we oddballs can enjoy it just as well without paying the Micro$oft tax...

:bounce: :nutkick: :clapclap:

OK so 4 replies/e-mails.

Is the site really that good that you can't think of anything?

on line shop... would be nice.

What about the ability to receive forum posts as emails?

e-mail your thoughts to ColinD, in confidence, good , bad or indifferent as per his original post:

Hmm - I get the text part of forum replies in my email notifications?...

(which sometimes saves me logging on to make a sarcastic retort! :D)

Check out "subscribe" in the forum options. You'll get all the email your heart desires. Jason alluded to this - he uses it.

How about a facility, that If you log onto Chat, you can see from there who is on line, then invite for a chat, from that facility, rather than having to PM them to chat ? :P

Steve

I did have the start of a replacement welcome panel that included a listing of all the users currently on the chat channel...

Not seen anything that worked the other way though... hard to link up who was on the chat channel with their user account on Briskoda...

Suggest that Ian and Colin take more of a break and stop making their lives difficult for themselves. The site is bloody fabulous as it is, ta.

i agree niki, shame when i leave

Well what do you know, I saw somthing I think that would do this...

As per what Steve says, but this is new

@LL ah now I have to explain why I have flushed cheekies ;) Thankyou, not forgetting all the other brave souls :D

@Kenny, I hope thats a shame when you have to close the browser and not your leaving.

aww shucks niki! It's down to a lot more people than colin and myself.

I would suggest that you simplify the site. Get rid of the opening page, as it is just an extra layer to have to download via dial up. Reduce the number of sub forums, I would sugest -

1. General to replace itself and all the other non specific ones.

2. Mechanical - maintenance, ICE, performance etc.

A large number of the existing forums get very few visitors.

I've been reading this and many other car sites for a while (mini2, audi-sport, clio sport) and felt I should contribute.

I recommend that we have separate forums for each car model (Fabia, Octavia, Superb) to talk about specific stuff as well as a general section for other Skoda-related chat.

Good site overall. FYI, I am in the process of trading my Audi A3 1.8T for a Fabia vRS thanks, in part, to this site.

A pop-up window to let you know that you have a PM.

Just a suggestion :)

Jonathan

Hmm, think there is one already !

There's an option in the user control panel to open a pop-up window if you get a PM.

Failing that - are you running a pop-up blocker?

You can do that already via your control panel settings.

Change the default e mail notification to 'Instant email notification' from 'Weekly email notification'. I always forget to alter it so I don't realise that there are replies to a posting I've made.

Otherwise the forum is brilliant - don't change anything else.

This is also configurable in your control panel.
