Do it, You will be very pleased with the results. I am!!

Remember though they do a mesh style leather similar to the Gaiter surround and it matches well.

I have a red car, and I had the Black leather, Mesh black inners and Burgandy stitching,( I thought Red would be to bright)

Get the doors done too or you will kick yourself afterwards.

I was put off by them, when they said they would only do a full retrim, rather than just replacing my white inserts with a more durable colour.

It's a full retrim I'm after really. They fit already made seat covers (produced in China I think) and so on the Octy it would mean unpicking the middle bit and restitching that in. Not really their bag.....they're not quite that sophisticated. :D

I just wanted door cards doing as I already have R32 leather seats and they weren't interested.

As said already though they just fit pre-made kits so replacing individual seat panels isn't an option to them.

Did you ask them for the special price, that sounds like the normal pricing. It does depend on your payment method - cash is preferable for the obvious reasons.

Ahhh...no I didn't ask for the 'speciala price'. Thing is I'll be using Mastercard so I'll just have to bite the bullet and pay the full whack.

Not to worry. It'll be paid off in a few months anyway as my wedding will be all done and dusted and I'll have some spare spondoolies. ;)

Stoppit damn you.....I keep looking at those pictures and it's making me want leather so badly. Ugh.....ugh.... :D

I spoke to a lass on the phone.....if I speak to Paul perhaps he can sort me out a better deal? The lass on the phone is sending me out some swatches to choose from but when I come to book it in I can ask to soeak to someone else I guess. :D

It's fecking rip off then if all there doing is fitting "covers" from abroad. I've heard MJ interiors in bradford are good. But everytime I ring it's engaged or their's no answer.

Your first marriage then?

Seriously though - best wishes mate.

That's a bit strong mate.

They own the plant in China and the covers are made to the specification you ask for - hence the sending out of the swatches. If you want the sewing done in the UK then you pay the price of having the sewing done in the UK.

He he....yup. Thanks mate. Kind of dreading it......well, almost. Don't know what to think to be honest. I keep thinking 'oh it's my freedom all gone' but I'm not exactly what you'd call free now anyway so it can't be any different. We've been living together for 5 years so I know what's coming. More shoes...and then more shoes.

 this country cant compare to the far east. Yes the work is done in China as that is where paul has contacts with at the moment. They do a good job and a cracking price.

Do you really think if you buy a Skoda main dealer fit leather it would be made in the UK anyway?

May be a bit harsh. Didn't know it was "custom cut" per order.

Go for it mate, Ull have to show me when u get them done

Ill probably go green with envoy then knowing that i wont be able to afford leather for at least another year. :orb_upset

Has anyone asked if they wil be doing the Fabia 2 ?

I was thinking of having leather in my red vRS, but I notice that the vRS logo isn't sited in the same position on the seats as the Skoda leather ones?

If I was to have it done, I'd have burgundy leather (Audi TT) Goes really well with a Black car. But SWMBO has spent all my money. So I'll have to dream instead!!

I was considering black (or very dark grey) on the current 'light' bits but with perforated red/burgundy leather in the middle bits.

Must admit I wasn't too bothered about the door panels as they are very clean.

Still cheaper than the Skoda retro-fit ones though :)

Oh yes, I'll be making a beeline for Altofts when it's done to show off. :D

Still, yours is mapped and lowered so I'll be left standing, if in greater comfort in my leather clad pimp mobile.

Yeah but plus the vat. On this site people quote

i think full leather would be great myself so just go for it and enjoy it :D

Only problem with leather is it's too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter (unless you have seat heaters), and it's also very slippy so not great in a sporty car....
