Featured Replies

Put me down for a remap please!

I'm not sure if I should go for a generic or a custom though (on a standard Octy vRS). ??

Done.

How many do we have onboard now?

If I was to put a deposit down, would there be a time limit to when I get the remap done? Got a few mods planned before the remap:thumbup:

If you put down a deposit you can book pretty much any available date within reason...Jabba are very reasonable so discuss with them before hand.

Wardy. PM not Sent. Your box is full..

Count me in :)

Generic PD130 remap please.

Im Interested! What happens next?

I understand we now need 10 people to get this underway, so have a little way to go.

I'll confirm current numbers on here later; some have since had to remove their interest.

Steve

how many more are needed?

I may be interested and hopefully before the rolling road day at awesome.

Wardy perhaps you could list all of the comfirmed people in the opening post so we can see how far we have to go? Unless people are bothered about being anonymous for some reason?

I would be interested but I need to know if it's been mapped already as it's quite fast anyway?

Right, sorry for the delay. I'm about to PM people back. This is to confirm your interest; I'd also like to know what car it's for, and whether you're wanting a generic or custom remap. Details of pricing for each are in Adrian's post earlier in this thread, Post #5.

I'm confident we have the 5 people required to get the proper GB running on here, and may nearly have the 10 needed already, to get things underway with Jabba.

Thanks,

Steve

 interesting one! Line it up with a standard vRS, that's all I can suggest :)

Steve

How much will this save the buyers?

  • Author

Standard prices, along with the GB prices, are in post #5, as stated. A GB would represent a 10% saving.

I am going to have it checked this weekend

I may be booking 2 cars onto this now. My Furby and the g/f's new Octy. Just chopped her Furby in for an Octy 2.0 TDi PD140 which is in need of some oomph :D

Good to hear mate

Can you PM me to confirm interest, and let me know whether you're going for a generic or custom map.

Steve

also interested in this when would we have to have the deposit paid by?

  • Author

More details on that will be made available when the proper GB thread opens. Watch this space.

Steve

My Furby is going to be paid off in September - I might be interested in a remap but just have the two common questions: What (if any) effect does it have on insurance and will it kill the clutch?

Your insurance will increase. How much will depend on the usual, age, NCD etc etc. If you're under 25 then some companies won't insure you.

As for the clutch it depends, how you drive. If you constantly put your foot down when the revs are low, you'll kill the clutch regardless if you have a remap or not.

There are a few people on here (NeoVR springs to mind) that have done high mileage with a remap and are still on the original clutch.

Group buy thread opened in the Group Buy section.

Ive Added my name Wardy:thumbup: PMed (but no reply) just to let you know
