One I haven't seen mentioned is 'launch it' which is reserved for accelerating hard from a standstill.

I managed to definately "hoof it" on the way home tonight, so much so I averaged 15 mpg :eek: :eek: :eek: .

Did show my mate a clean set of tyres though and he was in a 300bhp tuned mr2 .

(And yes, before anyone says it I know it would've had me but I got the overtaking advantage and a good run so he didn't stand a chance really after that :P )

I use the term "rip snorting " quite a bit normally with a big on my face when I hear the vRS turbo whistle.

Little 'un does a good impression of Clarkson when I have a rip snort moment, from the back seat "POWER" is normally uttered in an 8 year old's deap voice :P
