Ok the question is on looks would you go for the 2008 Impreza WRX or the 2008 Evo X???? Which would you rather be seen in.....

I personally think the new WRX looks like a cheap & nasty Korean job so the EVO wins hands down as far as i'm concerned.

Anyway a couple of pictures to help in case you haven't seen either of them yet.....

voted for Evo but if the servicing costs are still stupidly high would have to have the Impreza even though it doesn't look as good

The Subaru looks cheap and nasty imho.

Im not really a fan of either tbh but if i had to choose the evo for me

I would go on the looks of the Evo alone.

Evo. That Impreza is US spec , IIRC they are getting the saloon over there , arent we just getting the 5 door hatchback Impreza here? (it looks like a Chevrolet/Daewoo Lacetti with a bonnet scoop).

My intention was more a poll on looks than anything else to be honest. I saw a couple of pics of the 2008 cars and it struck me how bad i thought the new scooby looked...... I'll alter the original post to reflect this.

I happen to think the Imprezza looks better but I know how much better the Misti would handle so voted for that.

I can't believe how bad the Subaru looks. Even my wife compared it to a chavved up Vauxhall with a bonnet scoop from Halfrauds. Amazing how perceptive they can be now and again.

the new mitsubishi lancer has been released over here already (not the evo tho') must say it looks pretty good in the flesh, could be tempted myself!

yep before seeing that pic of the STi it was the undoubtedly Evo, but the STi looks pretty nice (I'm talking looks alone)
