dmac1969 thanks for introducing yourself it was a good day,and thanks for the kind words about my car i enjoyed meeting you all:thumbup:

Hey , no worries , Im just gutted I cant afford an SE now...lol! Mind you , there were so many cars at that show I'd have sold my soul for....:)

PS the VWfestival site now has a link for you to leave your feedback on the show , anything you liked or didnt like let them know , as its a young show and things can be tweaked to make it better year by year!

hmm will have to leave something on there for them then.

Like where the heck was harewood house as i couldnt see it

It was behind the trees where the campsite was , I wondered that too , so I asked! Did you see those little green buggy things buzzing around? They were taking visitors from the car parks up to the house. I've no idea why the show was so far away from the house this year (in pics on the site , it looks like its right next door to it) , maybe the resident of the house (Lord Harewood?) didnt want to see lots of muddy tracks from his windows , so banished us to the bottom of his 'garden'?..:)

Ahh so thats where it was hiding.

Glad i didnt pay for the extra ticket to go around the house now
