After seeing the thread about the VW festival, I noticed a Briskoda banner was draped over an octy vRS - Where did this come from? Can it be used at TRAX? What about stuff like a Briskoda gazebo? I know some flyers are flying about somewhere as well.

Hate to say this, but even my local car club has a 15 foot banner, two gazebo's and plenty of flyers, and it's only a small local car club. Briskoda should have something massive given the size of the forum now.

Jason - some good ideas there - subject to someone being willing to look after this stuff I guess.

Not sure if the Feeedom funds could be used, but another idea might be to hold some more auctions like we did at the BBQ meet in Bury.

Well, what I did with my local club, was I went and got the banner designed and an estimate done, then I put a shout out asking for donations of

I can't go to meets but I would put in a tenner as a way to say thank you to the forum.

Maybe better doing this at a regional level supported by top level, For instance if you Jason picked up a gazebo and banners then our regional group went to the scottish motor show we'd have buggerall chance of getting it (Not that we do much up here tho;))

As far as i know Chris (nshaunluke) bought this himself...... I don't know how much it cost though.

Was a good quality banner though etc.... Looked the Dogs danglies.

How effective are these as promotional materials though?

How much will they cost, how often will they be used, how tricky will the logistics be for storing and moving them, and how many people will they actually bring to the forum?

(Just some things to consider, not saying it shouldn't be done... ).
