My name Emma, I'm 18, from Calrisle, Cumbria.

I've been told off the other half (RSmike) that you're a lovely bunch of people so thought, why not?

I'm currently driving a MK4 Golf GT TDi (130) but as the insurance is a killer, Mike's given me the advise to change to a Fabia vRS as it's the same engine, but a hell of alot cheaper.

Your SO is quite right about the Furbie (and the Octy) being cheaper to insure than a Golf with the same engine.

Is your insurance a bummer on the Golf then? My Furby is £400 and I have full no claims bonus too.

Insurance is £1200 and that's me as a named driver in Mike's name! Got a wquote for the Fabia and it's only £450ish.

Plus the Fabia's that I've seen for sale, are cheaper, and have less miles than my Golf. So overall changing to a Fabia is the best thing to do.
