hi everyone went to the 2 for 1 offer this week on the stage one custom code and fisrtly can i say i was imensly impressed with their set up and the friendly staff they even put on a free bbq...anyway had the customer code done took about 20 mins and had a green panel filter done at the same time..anyway i cant see any difference in the car whatso ever it does not pull any better in any gear and exactly the same...i thought for 40 bhp and more torque i was expecting something special..spoke to jbs who said they have never miscoded a fabia ever and that the power should have been there straight away...what are everyones thoughts on this? i was behind a standard vrs tonight and he did not pull and i did not gain so i think something has gine wrong wat am i doing wrong? please help guys on your thoughts

The AMD one click gives those sought of gains I think and the difference between standard and modified was very noticable indeed.

Did JBS offer to have a look at it??

A custom code in 20 mins? Customised generically for the Fabia maybe, customised to you I say no-no-no!

Did you specify what you wanted to see from the remap? Otherwise it's as custom as a can of coke.

well i emailed them all week and asked them what to expect and they told me 170-175bhp with about 50lb extra torque but they did not proove this on the day just coded and told me it was done and away you go!!!! in all honesty if i paid over 400 this for 20mins on a laptop i would not have been happy and no proof of what they did either is pretty crapy!!! ont know if anyone else on the day had the same thing or they were happy with their remaps

to be honest they all were pretty uninterested apart from the people with silly bhp cars on the rollers spedning loads of money he he

Custom Code is a trade name, and does not imply a custom remap. No generic map takes more than a few minutes to download whichever of the main resellers it be from.

I suggest we wait and see what happens once JBS have had a look at it. Any speculation until then is pretty pointless.

true mate i am not wanting to slag them off at all cos they seemed really good and have had good right ups on here and i will let them look at it just wondered what peoples thoughts were i hope that they find something wrong cos honestly speaking i will have to0 have my money back and go with angel tuning who do a run before and afterwards

should there be a big differenc between a standard vrs and a remapped one on the road? should i have overtaken the standard fabia tonight easily??

These are Custom-Code remaps, they are completely different from Revo, you will find that with Custom-Code the map is so much more smoother and holds power at higher RPM. Which with the Custom-Code map this is great for the standard clutch as it has been known for other remaps to cause slipping issues.

The Custom-Code remap does not put any extra strain on any other components as the car is mapped within its safe limits.

On the Fabia vRS the power will go up to 170-175bhp and torque will go from 229lb/ft to 270-280lb/ft for only £446.50inc VAT

But on the 20th of this month we are offering 2 for 1 on Custom-Code remaps so if you know anyone else that wants a remap you could be saving 50%! Something not to be missed!
